Can I just say that God has an amazing sense of humor? In my last #NaPoBloMo post, I talked about the fear of failure , and the fact that constantly putting yourself out there and charting my waters takes courage.
Today I had the amazing opportunity to chart some new waters and step even further out of my comfort zone. I so excited to join in a live HuffPostLive segment with Emmy Award Winning Actress Regina King with a few of my fellow bloggers.
With the exception of Quencie , I knew and have met all the other ladies who joined in the segment. Renee of AskDr.Renee.info | Amber of TalktoAmber.com | Adeea of TheTrendySocialite.com
The 30 minute segment went by really quickly and it was such a great experience getting to chat with Regina.
Regina talked about her show “The Leftovers”, her long illustrious career in Hollywood, her Emmy win, staying authentic and ground, #BlackLivesMatter, her dream role, as well as upcoming projects.

One of the fun moments of the segment for me, happened when Regina said she loved my accent. Although it is something that I hear all the time, I often forget about it until someone mentions it. Of course I told her that my accent was from Grenada 🙂
Thanks to Pam of Koils by Nature who captured the moment and shared a little known fact about Grenada as well 🙂
Thanks to my girl Cole of thenaturalcole.com for capturing the screenshots.
