The Twist Out – One of my favorite “out’ styles. In this post all about the great hair day I was having. I got a lot of questions about my routine so today I’m sharing how to maintain a twist out at night, at least the way I do it 🙂
Something To Consider
I get my hair shaped and that plays a huge part in how my hair falls.
To maintain most of my “out” styles, I re twist in larger sections at night…after I remove my eyeliner of course 😉
TIP: If your hair is longer, you may be able to try the pineapple method by pulling your hair into a high ponytail at the top of your head.
Using the retwisting method, I’m apply to get my styles to last for quite a few days. Up to 9 Days as I did HERE.
In this video, I show you the entire process. From night time to daytime, including how I fluff and shape for my desired results 🙂
YOUR TURN: Do you do anything to your hair at night, or do you just let it be?
Well you know I needed this. I love the process I’m going through and learning something new everyday is great. I did try the pineapple method based on your advice and it worked. I do need to retwist at least 2x per week but I have been lazy. Also with transitioning here the two different textures can be so frustrating but I’ll be all natural really soon. Can’t wait!
Your twist outs always look so great I have been natural for 2 1/2 years but either wear it straight or wash and curly ponytail. One day I will try these!
I’m so using this, I rock a twist out but I’ve gotten so lazy that I never retwist it. I’m going to at least do it twice a week. lol I have to start small.
I love your hair…My hair doesn’t well with a twistout! She has a mind of her own.
Love your “sleeping” pic 🙂 I feel like a very bad blog friend, I haven’t been over to visit in a long time. Yet to try a twistout on my hair at this length but now thanks to this post, I’m gunna…and I hope it looks 1/2 as good as yours!
