I originally tried this product back in 2013. I recently revisited the Curl Moisture Cream and I love it even more. Even though it’s a very light cream, it works surprisingly well. It is pH balanced and this one of those products where “a little goes a long way” applies.

YOUR TURN: What is your favorite moisturizer?
How can you tell which is the best product from the list on this site?
I love the shea moisture! My hair has been responding to cantu natural hair products too!
I absolutely love the smoothie!
My hair is wavy and wont do anything I try to get it to do. I love it when people leave their hair natural though though I am kind of biased since I dont know how to do anything to mine.
Thanks Kat B.
I wish I had curly hair, I have to get my curls from a curling device. My step-sister doesn’t have that issue so she uses the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and LOVES it!
Awesome. The smoothie is great stuff.
I am similar to the others who commented, my hair is on the normal/thinner side and I have straight hair. It is so easy for me to get weighed down and get really oily.
Totally understand Michelle
I have very fine hair so I need to be careful not to weigh my hair down. I do like Toni & Guy though.
Totally understandable.
I am on the opposite end of the spectrum and have to be careful using moisturizers on my hair as it tends to look oily if I do. I want to experiment with some new styles this year myself.
I totally understand!
I feel like I am always hunting for a better moisturizer! I love this round up for some new ideas that i haven’t heard of before cause i love my curls!!
Thanks RuntoFinish
I have natural curly hair, but I get keratin treatments to get rid of those pesky curls. I use Moroccan oil to help moisturize when I flat iron.
Moroccan oil is great stuff.
You got some great products listed! I always have a hard time trying to find something that agrees with my hair. It’s been falling a lot recently. 🙁
Aww..sorry to hear that Shaney. Hopefully you can get it under control soon.
These all sound like great moisturisers. I’ve always looking for things to make my hair look great as it’s so dry. Your hair looks fab by the way 🙂
Thanks Fi Ni
I am always trying to find new hair products that I really love. I have blonde hair, and highlight it, so my hair really needs a ton of moisture and conditioning products.
Yep, colored hair definitely needs more moisture.
It’s very hard for me to find good hair products because I have very different kind of hair. There aren’t really a lot of products that carter to ‘mixed’ hair but Shea Moisture does work really well with my hair <3
Yes Shea Moisture works really well and they have a wide range of items
I’ve only tried the Curl Enhancing Smoothie, I tend to stick to oils but I really need to explore some more products especially since The Princess Fairy’s hair is getting thicker. Thanks for the suggestions.
You’re welcome Adanna.
Happy New Year Vee!! I love Shea Moisture Curl Enhancer Smoothie. I recently started using Camille Rose Almond Jai butter, it makes my curls super curly and soft. I also love Oyin Handmade Hair Dew as a moisturizer.
Hey Siobhan. Happy New Year love! I need to try some Camille Rose items. I actually tried the Hair Dew and it was just ok. Maybe I need to revisit 🙂
