Kinks & Drinks Dallas – November

I realize that I hardly share recaps/highlights of Kinks & Drinks Dallas on the blog. In my defense, if you follow me on Facebook & Instagram, I always post the pics there. 🙂

Last evening we got together like we’ve been doing on the 3rd Thursday for the past 4 months, to network, share hair tips and information and have a great time. We  also showcase/introduce various hair care/beauty brands to monthly our audience of 60 women.

This month’s title sponsor was CURLS. Nubian Heritage, Karen’s Body Beautiful, Oyin Hnadmade & Bobeam Natural Products also had items in the swagbags.

I’ve been hosting events as the Co-organizer of the Bella Glam Naturals Meetup group for over 2 years and I can honestly say that I love our ladies. They are amazing, supportive and we always have a great time.

This month Janelle Sands, CURLS Brand Educator gave the ladies great tips and style demos on protective styles and professional looks.

Local blogger Jade of LipsticknCurls led a candid discussion on that covered everything from voting, texture privilege, self acceptance and confidence.

For my hosting duties, I wore my limited edition “That Bloggers Hustle” tee from Tees in the Trap that I got at Blogalicious. Love it!

My hair is almost 3 week old Crochet Kinky Twists which I just removed 🙂
