Woohoo….I did it! I made it to 30 days with my mini/micro twists! It was not as hard as I expected and I must say that I LOVE the twist out results. My hair felt (I’m pre-pooing as I type) so soft after the take down, and I credit that feeling to my “maintenance team” pictured below.
I may actually consider twisting my hair up again and leaving it in for a month….not anytime so though. I need to plan for that 10.5 hour session. I used all the products/items pictured above and my Special edition Ayurvedic Shea Butter Mix as my sealant (I forgot to take a pic).
This what my twist out looked like on Day 2 after being out in the rain, and with no night time maintenance. I loved it, but sadly I had to retire it before my hair decided to rebel for the month of “neglect”. I think it wants to come out and play…at least for a little while.
