I was so tired from traipsing all over the world with my two sisters, that I had no time nor desire to retwist, pineapple or anything, so I donned my satin bonnet and hit the sack. This morning, I let the steam from the shower revive my hair and went on my way. The twist-out was still very defined but got FRIED because we spent hours in the 104º heat while visiting the Dallas Arboretum.
Side note: If you live in Dallas and you haven’t visited the Chihuly Glass Sculptures exhibit, you may want to go before it closes in November. As you can see the pieces are amazing and almost life like. I plan on catching a night time show/concert before the it wraps up.
I’m going to DC my hair and twist it back up for the entire week and maybe I’ll give it some “free time” next weekend. Well see…
