So I think I may be falling for wigs. No surprise there, right?
As you already know *doing* my hair is not at the top of my priority list these days. The days of me spending hours twisting and curling and doing all amazing the things that you can possibly do with your natural hair (on a regular basis) are few and far between.
Of course, that does not mean that I don’t want fabulous hair days so I still take care great care of my hair, but it’s usually in twists, under a headwrap, or more recently under a wig. A few weeks ago I was on YouTube and came across this Sensationnel “Chantel” Empress Lace Front Edge wig and I was intrigued. The $20 price point was a no brainer so naturally, I bought it 🙂
My all time favorite wig is my KinkyCurly Yaki U-part wig which I have been wearing religiously. I got “Chantel” because I wanted something that I can wear on the everyday basis. The KinkyCurly Yaki wig is definitely an everyday wig, but I want to preserve it a bit for special occasions, so this one is perfect.

As you can see this wig is synthetic -looking (and feeling) but it matches my natural hair texture really well and I can make it work.
Now for the fun part. You know I had to show you how I blended it, right? I even did so LIVE on Facebook. Watch as I cut the lace, blend the wig, and answer some questions along the way. This is probably the most fun I’ve had on a live video. See for yourself 😉
