I think I’ve found my summer go-to style. 🙂 It’s been over 100º almost everyday, and for me that means pinups and updo’s. The are super quick and easy to do. They are also a great way to protect my ends from drying out and tangling on themselves to form those dreaded single strand knots.
I’ve also been experimenting with head scarves and wraps, as a way to jazz up the looks. There really is no method to the styles. I just literally untwist my twists and pin them up. I’m particularly loving these stripped scarves I found at the Dollar Tree. ($1 each)
I’ve also been trying out larger scarves, as I work my way up to what I like to call a “statement headwrap”. I’ll eventually get there. 🙂 For now, I’m loving these updos and scarves.
