There truly is no place like home. My husband & I recently returned from vacation and for the second year in a row, we went to Grenada. Although the island is pretty small (120 sq miles), there is still so much to see, and I enjoy taking you along for the journey. So here’s the latest installment of our Grenada Vacation Photo Diary. We also made a trip to Carriacou for the first time (for me). More on that in a bit.
This vacation was extra special because I had the honor of serving as Matron of Honor in my youngest sister’s wedding. It honestly seems like yesterday I was holding her hands to cross the street, but now she’s off to manage a home of her own 🙂
It was an absolutely gorgeous wedding and I styled my hair using my Kinky Curly Yaki Clip Ins. I wore the clip ins every day for the almost 3 weeks we were there. I’ll be posting an update video soon.

This year has been all about REALLY facing my fears and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone . I think I’ve mentioned the fact that I can’t swim, but that did not stop me from going on a speed boat ride. It was the scariest yet most exhilarating experience ever, as we were pulled by a speed boat for 2 miles along Grand Anse beach. One more thing to cross of my bucket list!Grenada is the largest of the Tri-Island state of Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique. Although I was born, and grew up in Grenada, I have never been to Carriacou. Carriacou is accessible by plane and boat, but most people prefer to make the close to 2 hour voyage via boat. That’s exactly what we did.
Check out what we got into as we took a guided tour of the 13 sq mile island and experience the breath taking beauty this is Carriacou!
