I could get all sentimental today but I’ll spare y’all…lol. I am however, truly grateful, humbled and appreciative for your support, your wonderful comments and inbox messages. Thank you so much for embracing me with open arms and I thank God for each and every one of you.

Exactly one year ago today, I wrote my first blog post. It kinda happened on a whim because I had challenged myself to do something that was out of my comfort zone. Well, here I am today and more comfortable than ever in my “new zone.” I have met so many wonderful people, made friends, shared stories, gained “sisters” and have done so many things that I had no idea I even knew how to do, all because I stepped out 🙂 Most importantly, I feel like I have grown, not just inches of hair, but in so many other ways. Who knew a little blogging about my hair and other random shenanigans would have that effect on me? ☺

Ok, I did promise not to get sentimental so I’ll stop now, but I did want to share a little “nugget” that my husband and biggest supporter coined, and always reminded me about during this past year when I used to get in those “I don’t know how to do that” moods.

“There is nothing that you cannot do. It’s all just a lot of stuff that you have not tried.”

With that said, I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and go do all those things you’ve been wanting to do. ♥♥♥

Now for the hair stuff! This is my hair today on Day 2 of a twistout using Darcy’s Botanicals Sweet Cocoa Bean Hair whip (not yet available…I got a sample during their last sale). I’m very pleased with the results because my hair looks and feels great (in my opinion), even after if got rained on a bit.

I am super excited about what’s to come as my blog enters “toddler” stage and I look forward to sharing them all with you. Thank you again for your support and have a great week.

Until next time
