Now that Thanksgiving is over, everyone’s focus shifts to the upcoming holidays. Of course, gift giving is also huge on many people’s minds. I know from experience that it’s sometimes difficult to figure exactly what to get. After my last two visits, I knew I could count on my Target Beauty Concierge to help.

On my latest visit, I decided to focus on stock stuffers. When I give gifts, I like to give gift sets, or at least include complementary items so the recipient can use them together. This was my mission for my Target latest visit. Here are two of the beauty equations I came up with. These are perfect for gifting to coworkers, family or friends, or you can use these equations to achieve your own holiday looks.

For Skin That Glows

Glowing skin starts from great skincare. Here’s what I picked up for this beauty equation. Boots Botanics Facial Oil and their All Bright Eye Roll-On. These will help your skin remain supple and reduce any puffiness in preparation for your glow.

Next I got e.l.f’s Bronzer in Sunkissed, as well as one of their baked eye shadows. The baked shadow trio is perfect for adding some extra sparkle to your eyes without overdoing it. Of course, no glow is complete without a little bronzer, so I had to have that one.

I decided to do matte lips to finish up the look. Making sure your lips are properly exfoliated and moisturized is super important when wearing matte lip colors. To prep your lips, start with the e.l.f lip exfoliator to slough off any dead skin, and then apply some Burt’s Bees lip balm for extra-moisturized lips.

For the lip color, I picked one of the new Revlon Ultra HD matte lip colors. When I first picked the color at the store, it looked much darker than it does in the pictures, but I have no issues with a pink lip in December, so it works for me. 😉 If you prefer a darker shade, those are available as well.

Final Look: Glowy Skin + Matte Lips = An Easy, Fun, Versatile Look

For the second beauty equation, I wanted to focus on holiday nails. I found this super cute gift set from Essie at Target. For gift giving, it can be paired with a handy jar of cuticle balm and a moisturizing hand lotion.

target-beauty-equations-stocking-stuffersBoth the cuticle cream and the hand cream can be used to prep and maintain soft, well-moisturized hands for showing off your holiday nails. I love that the gift set contains the classic holiday red and a glittery gold, as well as two more neutral shades. For the final look, I decided to go with the classic red with a touch of glitter.

I don’t allow myself to go in Target often because I buy all of the nonsense when I am there. So I had no idea that they had beauty concierges. Such a great thing.

Target is my place they just take all my money. I bought some festive nail polish the other day from Wally world and I should have been in Target because I put the polish back the lines were to long and my patience was shot.
