Updated Sept 2016: The brand has been renamed from Lace Naturals to Bask & Bloom Essentials.
Since my haircut in January of this year, I have not had a trim. On Friday I went to my stylist for some much needed maintenance for my ends 🙂
I have been testing out products from LACE Natural for the past few weeks, so I decided to use the More Moisture Cream & Pomade for a Flat Twist Out.
Flat twists are not my strong suit. After my trim my stylist flat twisted my hair. I intentionally asked her not to add any extra product because I knew I wanted to use the LACE products again.
When I got home, I redid the twists using the More Moisture Cream. I used the Apricot Mango Pomade to seal in the moisture.
This morning I removed the flat twists and I was really pleased with the results. It was a scorching 103 in Dallas today and surprisingly my hair didn’t morph into a huge bush 🙂
I’ve used the LACE products a few different ways so far. Stay tuned for my complete video review of four items I tried out.
YOUR TURN: Have you mastered flat twisting? If so, is there a style that you still find challenging?

Gorgeous as always. I need to try these flat twist on Zoe.
Thanks MJ. Yes, give my niece some flat twists 😀
