Thank you to P.F. Changs for sponsoring this week’s Date Night. All opinions and experiences are my own.
Date night is hands down my favorite time of the week. We missed last weekend’s date because hubby was out of town, so a makeup session was in order 🙂 We decided it was the perfect time to try out the new menu options at P.F. Changs in Dallas .
P.F. Changs is introducing hand-rolled sushi, a first for P.F. Chang’s, as well as inventive small plates and handcrafted cocktails which launched first and only in Dallas.
We were right on time for Sushi, Small Plates & Wine Flights Wednesdays which began yesterday.
It was our first time visiting the P.F. Changs Northpark location, and the entire staff was welcoming and very friendly.
I am the girl who eats often, but I sometimes find it hard to eat an entire meal/ entree in one sitting. The Small Plates were PERFECT for me. We started of with the Jicama Pork Tacos which were delicious. They were made with Lemongrass seared pork, topped with a refreshing tropical pepper slaw served in jicama “shells”.
The Hand Folded Crab Wontons filled with crab, bell peppers and green onions, with spicy plum sauce got hubby’s famous “hmmm…this is realllllly good” approval.
Next we tried out the Saigon Summer Rolls which were made from Lemongrass chicken, julienne carrots, celery root, cilantro, peanuts, Thai basil and mint wrapped in cool rice paper with a sweet chili dipping sauce. The combination of the flavors was perfect.
Before I got too full I knew I had to sample the Shrimp Tempura Roll. I was so glad I did because it did not disappoint. As matter of fact, we ordered seconds of Tempura Roll and the Crab Wontons which were both of our favorites. 🙂
We found the new menu items at P.F. Changs Dallas perfect for a laid back date evening.
If you’re more of a happy hour type of person you can now stop by for “3 to 7” Happy Hour.
‘3 to 7’ means from 3 to 7 pm with prices from $3 to $7. Guests can add a little fizz to the day during the new, extended P.F. Chang’s happy hour, with specials served from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every Monday through Friday.
We will definitely be back!
YOUR TURN: Have you been to P. F. Changs? Are you looking forward to trying out the new menu items?
Until next time
