Happy Monday!
I hope you had a really great weekend.
I’m participating in “Mind Right Mondays” Linkup hosted by Dani of OKDani.com. So what’s Mind Right Mondays? It’s basically a way to get your mind “right” for the week. You share your goals and the things you’re grateful for. Obviously, putting it in writing for all the world to see is a great way to stay accountable. 🙂
Here’s my list.
Goals
- Edit at least two videos this week.
- Follow up with my blog designer.
- Write AT LEAST one more blogpost for the week.
- Drink more water. Umm, I have been doing really horrible lately. I think the cooler weather is to blame.
- Work Out
- Finalize upcoming collaborations
- Wash & Style my hair. It’s been over 2 weeks since my last wash day O_o
Gratefuls
- Rest. This past weekend I finally took the time to recuperate after weeks of being on the go.
- God’s Grace.
- My supportive husband 🙂
- My health and the health of my family.
- Fuzzy socks
- Pandora
- Clearance racks at Kohl’s 🙂
So, what’s on your list this week? Feel free to share in the comments.
Until next time
Hey! I’m sorry I missed your comment. My comment system was holding it hostage for some reason. I hope this worked out for your as well. I know all too well how you feel, the itchy scalp is not the business!
Hi Olivia, thanks for stopping by. Wow, best wishes with the book! You can do it. Girl the hair is a struggle sometimes 🙂
Thanks Tru! I definitely need to start writing out a plan for the day. Otherwise, I’m doing everything and not getting anything done 🙂
I just love your blog. My goals to spend the first 30 minutes of my morning in prayer and meditation mode. To write a plan for the day. To workout and to take 30 minutes of me time at the end of the day to veg out and recover.
I’ve followed the instructions, but I did it with the untwisted hair so I combed it through after the wash and before the dry. I saw the “stuff” in the water and recommend you wash it after you pull it out Bc there was lots of film left. A sister of mine got the kinky twist a day old and she has been complaining about how itchy it is till the point of ready to pull it out! I have plans to get my hair done and it’s been a few years for me having braids. Even now I’m indecisive what style I should go with-_-.. But I remembered I had allergic reactions to the hair when braided with the synthetic hair, and with my hair being “pulled” not only was it itching but it hurt too! I’m hoping this #homeremedy will at least solve the itching especially starting anew. I will let you know my results. I have a few days left before I do it but the preparations are done. Give it a try!
