Every night I go bed and pray that God would allow me to see another day. However, sometimes in my haste/tiredness, I jump in bed and fall right asleep. When I open my eyes the next morning, sometimes my heart jumps for joy just because God’s grace allowed me to see another day even though I did nothing to deserve it.
This post is not about praying before you go to bed. It’s about how fleeting life is, a fact that we are all aware of. Yesterday 153+ persons got on a plane bound for Nigeria in the hopes of seeing family, going on vacation, doing business etc. Today none of them are alive.
The Bible says in James 4:14 (NIV)….”Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” Everyday we alive is a blessing and a gift from God, a chance to live for him, make a difference, show love, be kind and be a blessing to others.
“Live every moment as though it was your last”. Make TODAY count!
