During my recent vacation, I was chatting with a hotel employee about an event the hotel was hosting. He informed my husband & I that we needed to be at least 28 years old to attend the event. I’m going to assume that he was trying to flatter us, but we both laughed so loud because neither of us is anywhere close to 28. As a matter of fact, I’m closer to 40 than I am to 30.

As I have mentioned a few times before on the blog, my biggest struggles are hyperpigmentation and scarring from frequent breakouts (even if I don’t pick my face). Of course, fine lines are creeping in as well because I’m getting older. Skincare is something that I take seriously. I love using serums and products to help nourish, protect and heal my skin. I also get regular facials for self-care as well as to help combat some of my issues. My esthetician & I also discussed having Microdermabrasion, so when I get the opportunity to try the Silk’n ReVit Microderm tool, I decided to take it for a spin.

To be very honest, I was nervous about the whole thing, but when I opened the box and saw the tool, I felt a little bit more at ease. The Silk’n ReVit is an at-home microdermabrasion tool that combines gentle microdermabrasion exfoliation with vacuum stimulation to reduce the appearance of age spots, fine lines and acne scars.
It promises to help you achieve younger and smoother looking skin and more even complexion with the help of three tips (precision, fine & coarse) which are included with the product.

This is what my completely bare skin looked like prior to using the tool. I used it for a little over 3 weeks on an average of 3 times per week. I had to stop for a bit because I had a breakout.

Here I am 3 weeks later in another completely unfiltered, unedited photo.

In case you’re wondering the Silk’n Revit tool is completely painless. The only thing you’ll feel is a slight suction caused by the vacuum action of the tool. I am really glad I decided to give this a try despite my reservations and I will continue to use. Maybe, just maybe I’ll be able to stay looking 28 with continued use 🙂

I am 40 yrs old but get mistaken for my 20 year old daughter’s friend daily. I have always looked younger than my age but I am noticing fine lines around my eyes and mouth mainly due to stress and working 60 hrs a week with little sleep. I would love to try this product out as I am big on facial oils to keep skin youthful but that only works to a certain level.
