I’ve always tried to take really good care of my skin. As I quickly approach 35, skin care is even more important to me. About 2 months ago, I received my the Julep Luxe Repair Skin Serum in my Julep Maven Box.
I’ve never had acne prone skin, but in the past few years, I’ve been having issues with hormonal acne, hyper-pigmentation and the whole nine yards. I was really excited that the first ingredient in the serum was Rose Hip seed oil which is great for preventing wrinkles, helping to reduce scars and evening your skin tone. It is also a very expensive oil.
Website Description:
Lightweight, concentrated formula enriched with Julep’s proprietary Power Cell Complex™, a trio of skin-boosting superstars:
1) Rosehip seed oil – a nourishing oil (and natural source of vitamins A and C) that helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and post-acne marks. Contains natural fatty acids that bond moisture to skin2) Malvaceae Lipid Extract™ – a lipid complex that provides immediate and long-lasting hydration and works to rebuild skin structure from the inside out3) Green coffee bean oil – a natural anti-inflammatory that promotes cell turnover
I use the serum as directed mostly at night and I can definitely see a change in my acne spots and the overall texture of my skin. I know my Clarisonic has also contributed to the improved skin texture, but this serum is really good.
The serum retails for $28 on the Julep site and I’m so happy I got to try it out. You only need a tiny bit for each use so this bottle will go a long way.
