It’s no secret that I absolutely #HeartmyHair. I also love trying new hair styles. When I learned about the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® & 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer from #CollectiveBias, I was excited to give them a whirl to create some easy hair styles.

During a grocery shopping trip to my local Walmart, I picked up the Infiniti Pro Curl Secret and the 3Q Brushless Motor dryer.

I recently removed my Kinky Twists so a deep cleanse and  deep conditioning session was necessary, especially since I would be applying heat.
After cleansing, I wrapped my hair in a micro fiber towel and allowed it to dry for a while. I always make sure that most of the water is removed from my hair before I blow dry. Next, I applied a leave in conditioner that doubles as a heat protectant & the Nubian Heritage Heat Protectant Foam.

Easy Holiday Styles Using the Conair Curl Secret & Q3 Dryer.

I blow dried my hair on the low/warm setting with the Conair Pro 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer using the tension method. This dryer reduces drying time by up to 70% with lower temperature and faster airflow to minimize heat damage. The 3Q stands for Quick, Quiet & Quality.

Next it was time to use the Conair  Curl Secret . The Curl secret uses tourmaline-ceramic technology to help reduce the amount of frizz in your hair, leaving you with smooth hair that is soft to the touch. The Curl Secret has 2 temperature settings & 3 times settings. I chose high heat for 10 seconds. I applied a tiny bit of styling elixir and set to work.

Conair Curl Secret Revie

As a lefty I can be a bit awkward, so it took me a few tries to get the hang of the Curl Secret. *covers face* Once I figured it out it was so easy to use, even on my very kinky, tightly coiled hair. Prior to curling I used the Conair Velvet Paddle Brush to ensure each section was properly detangled.

Since the holidays are upon us, I decided to create some easy styles that can be  worn to holiday parties, outings and social events.

LOOK 1 –  Textured Curls.
This look was achieved by simply curling your hair using the Curl Secret. It took me a little over and hour to curl my entire head using small 1/2 – 1 inch sections. If you want even sleeker curls, you can flat iron your hair prior to using the Curl Secret. conair-curl-secret-natural-hairEasy Holiday Hair Styles with Conair Curl SecretLOOK 2 – Half & Half

I used Conair Bobby Pins to pin up the top half of hair for a soft, loose face framing look. Another easy style.

LOOK 3 – Easy Tousled Updo.
I used more Conair Bobby Pins to create a soft stylish, yet easy Updo. I took sections of my hair, lightly folded them and pinned them in place. I left a single curl at the front for even more softness.

I didn’t know you could use this on natural hair. I thought it would get tangled or something. I can’t wait to go out and buy this so I can try it on my hair.
