Happy Thursday! I know…I’ve been MIA for a bit. The planning for Natural Hair All-Star Weekend + Expo (NHASW) has been taking up a fair share of my time, but I wanted to share another first impressions review with you.
I finally found so time to give my hair some TLC last week after wearing it medium twists for almost two weeks. After pre-pooing and cleansing, I deep conditioned with the Green Tea and Carrot Deep conditioning mask from The Mane Choice.

The Mane choice is a natural hair company founded by CourtneyNaturalHair, who is one of our featured guests for NHASW. I was gifted a bottle of her deep conditioner with no obligation to review.
The product is creamy but very light. As I applied it to my hair I started to get a little worried, since I prefer thicker creamier deep conditioners. It honestly didn’t feel like it was doing anything much to me hair.

The instructions direct you to “cover with a plastic cap for 45 minutes or sit under a warm dryer for 15 minutes”. I donned my plastic cap, did some work and waited……
After removing the cap, I was pleasantly surprised at how the mask completely disappeared into my hair. I even shot a few seconds of video footage after removing the cap, but before rinsing my hair.
First impressions: I’m pleasantly surprised. My hair was very soft as you can see in the video, but maintained its elasticity as well.
The 8oz mask retails for $18.99 which is a little more than I normally pay, however it is recommended for use every 2 weeks.
I can get just about 2 more uses for the 4 oz bottle I received. I’ll keep you posted with my final thoughts.

Nice giveaway! Such a beautiful ring I would say. It is a nice idea to propose someone special with a ring candle. I love to receive such wonderful gifts from my husband. He also gifted a wonderful ring candle. It was really surprising for me to receive a perfect blue diamond ring. I was happy more than surprised to receive such a charming ring from him.
