When I decided to wear my hair in its naturally, beautiful state, I used to be all about definition, definition, definition. I’m sure I’m not alone, right? Don’t get me wrong, I still like defined hair, but when I’m going out, especially with hubby, we love BIG hair. Head & Shoulders recently launched their moisture care collection, specifically designed for textured hair.

The collection includes a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, shampoo (not pictured), co-wash and a scalp soother. As the name implies, the moisture care collection is designed to provide what our hair craves, moisture, moisture, moisture…while maintaining a flake free scalp.

In my first “Get Ready with Me” video, I show you how I use the Head & Shoulders Moisture Care Collection, to achieve a flake free scalp and moisturized hair as I prep for date night 🙂

YOUR TURN: Do you prefer to wear your hair with lots of definition or do you prefer it “big”? Have you heard about the Moisture Care Collection?

*screams* Your hair looks FAB! I like mine big AND defined 🙂 I’m just too lazy to make that happen which is why I wear head wraps 90% of the time.

LOL…thank you T. 🙂 Girl that truth is that I’m in a headwrap or twist a lot of the time too

Vashti, first, you look beautiful!! And I love definition, I am a definition girl, I don’t know how to achieve the big hair look yet, I struggle with that pick comb, lol.

I am here for this hair, it has such definition and shine. I’ve not used Head & Shoulders but I need to check out this moisture collection. My hair always needs more moisture then its getting.

I watched your video the other, loved how your hair turned out! When I’m rocking my own hair out I like a combination of both. I try to get nice definition in the curls (key word is try lol) but I really like my 2nd day hair when it’s bigger

For the most part, I don’t care whether my styles are defined or not. I just let my hair do whatever. Nope, haven’t heard of this line until now! My husband uses regular H&S on his hair but maybe I’ll have him look into this.

That same style was a go-to for me, esp when I first did my BC after 9 months of transitioning. As my hair grew, I didn’t do it as much but you’ve inspired me to revisit it. Love the outfit! 😉

Cool video. I use to love definition but now I find myself fluffing it out more. I like it more frizzy and kinky now. Not having to worry about definition makes natural hair care free

Love your hair girl! When I am wearing my hair natural, I definitely prefer some definition. And I blogged about this line as well and have added it to my hair care mix
