I hope your October is off to a great start. I’ve been knee deep in the planning for Natural Hair All Star Weekend (NHASW) which kicks off in a mere 11 days!

I used Curls’ Curl Souffle with the Goddess Curls gel on top. I used too much gel in some sections (mainly in the front) and I had two sections that didn’t dry fully, but my hair turned out really nice. I also used a different technique so that might have contributed to the results, but I was very pleased.

On Saturday night, I got sprinkled by the rain so I salvaged the style by doing some Bantu Knots. I undid the knots and fluffed a little to create this 70s looking hairstyle that I wore to dinner with hubby for our 6th Anniversary celebrations.
I can’t even imagined it has even been that long. It seems like just yesterday I was trying to hold back tears as I walked down the aisle. Wow…God has been so amazingly good to us.
