Shiny, moisturized hair is within reach, as a matter of fact, it’s as close as your kitchen cupboards. :)I’ve been doing honey and olive oil treatments for quite a while and I’m really loving the results. I try to do them at least twice a month or whenever I feel like my hair needs some extra “ummph”

Olive oil is an ancient beauty secret that is used to moisturize the hair and scalp.  It is one of the fews oils that penetrate the hair shaft to make it stronger and smoother.

Honey is a natural humectant which means it’s absorbs water from the environment and draws it to the hair. Therefore it is perfect for adding softness in when the when it hot and humid. Honey also adds great shine to dull hair and is known for its antibacterial properties.

For this treatment,  mix 2 tblsp s of olive oil and 2 tblsp of honey. Warm in the microwave for 20 secs (this makes the honey less sticky).  Apply to freshly washed hair from root to tip making sure to saturate your ends. Cover with a plastic cap 20-30 minutes. Rinse and there…..soft, shiny hair! 😉

Honey and olive oil can also be added to your favorite deep conditioner for an more intense conditioning effect!

I must testify to this. The virgin olive oil and honey treatment really works wonders; I used it more than once and have really seen a great difference in my hair. I have gone from dry, brittle hair to thick, moist, shiny hair. Way to go Vashti!!!

    lol..I hope not!
No seriously,I’ve never had that happen neither have I ever heard of it happening. I know of people who keep it in overnight and never had a problem. So I don’t think you have that to worry about :))))))
