Where does the time go? It’s already time for another feature. This month’s First Friday Feature is ChariT’s Inspirational Creations (CIC). I “met” Chari (owner) via Facebook and I’m always happy to see her inspirational posts and jewelry on my timeline. I own a pair of her “Kinky Twists” earrings, and I can tell you that her craftsmanship and attention to detail are impeccable.
1) What would you like the readers to know about you?
I am a blessed woman of God, wife, mother, and inspirational jewelry creator! I love inspiring others and helping them live their purpose in life! I love the color purple and rocking my natural hair!
2) Tell us about CIC. What/who was the inspiration behind it? How did it get started?
After the birth of my twins I looked for a purpose and asked God what He wanted me to do. After coming upon Etsy.com while looking for a unique gift, I thought to myself, I can make my own jewelry but I wanted it to have a purpose. Knowing I love to inspire others, it only made since to make inspirational jewelry! So ChariT’s Inspirational Creations was born!
3) What items do you currently sell and who is your target market?
I sell handmade inspirational jewelry including: religious themes, mommy jewelry, cause awareness, natural hair love, and more! Our creations are great for women who love being inspired and wearing unique jewelry!
4) What distinguishes CIC from its competitors?
ChariT’s Inspirational Creations are jewelry pieces handmade with love to celebrate and uplift you! When you wear our jewelry you will smile and be inspired to live your best life!
5) What is your vision for CIC? Where would you like the business to be in 5 years?
I would like for ChariT’s Inspirational Creations to be sold in Christian stores, natural hair salons, and beauty shops nationwide!
6)What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned as an entrepreneur? What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs?
I have learned it is critical to delegate! You should not be doing everything on your own or it will drive you crazy! Believe me, I know lol.
