I paid a discounted fee to attend the Disney Social Media Moms Land & Sea Celebration. Although I received accommodations, park tickets, some meals, gifts and special perks from the sponsors and Disney, all opinions are honest and my own.

During my recent trip to the Disney Social Media Moms Land & Sea Adventure, we had the opportunity to get sneak peeks of many of the new and exciting attractions and adventures coming to Disney. One of the attractions that really peeked my interest is the new Adventures by Disney Seine River Cruise added to the Adventures by Disney lineup.

Adventures by Disney provides group guided vacations to various domestic and international destinations. According to their website,

Traveling with Adventures by Disney is about immersing yourself in the cultures, stories and people of the world—not worrying about the hassles usually associated with vacation travel.

Adventures by Disney offers both land adventures such as Winter in Wyoming to fantastic River Cruises to exotic European destinations such as the Danube River Cruise for Oktoberfest.  From the moment I learned about the Disney River Cruises, I knew I had to experience one and immediately added it to my travel bucket list.

Starting in June 2019, Disney has added the Seine River Cruise which takes you the iconic sites of the City of Lights (Paris) to the provincial landscape of Monet’s beloved Giverny to the beaches of Normandy and stunning destinations in between. Here are three reasons why this new Disney River Cruise is on my travel bucket list.

1) It’s by Disney. Duh!

As I mentioned in this post, not only was the Disney Social Media Celebration my first trip to Disney World, it was also my first time on a cruise. There is nothing quite like the Disney experience, and I was blown away by our experience on the Disney Dream because everything was done with such a level of excellence. Since everything that Disney does is magical I know that the Adventures by Disney Seine River Cruise will be nothing short of spectacular.

2) You get to be an Adventurer and not just a Tourist

Paris has always been on my list of places to visit. During the Adventues by Disney Seine River Cruise, not only do you get to experience Paris but you get to have a really immersive experience during guided tours to experience the grandeur of Paris at the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral.

You also have the option to go tree climbing, visit a local orchard or if you’re a foodie you can tantalize your taste buds with local french flavors from restaurants, cafés, chocolatiers and epicurean boutiques.

During one of the numerous excursions on the cruise, you can also choose to walk, bike or take a motor coach to the stunning Giverny landscape at French impressionist painter Claude Monet’s House & Garden or visit the natural arches of the Étretat Chalk Complex overlooking the English Channel.

3) It’s a LONG cruise.

While absolutely loved our time on the Disney Dream, my only “complaint” was that the trip was too short since we did the 3 night-4 day option. While there are longer Disney cruise options, the Adventures by Disney River Cruises are all 8 days and 7 nights long. The new Adventures by Disney Seine River Cruise is even longer at 10 days and 9 nights! This gives you even more time to experience the all-inclusive Disney magic as well as the stunning destinations you’ll visit during your trip.

How have you been on an Adventures by Disney excursion?

I can’t wait to go on the new Adventures by Disney River Cruise along the Seine River! I’m thinking it may be the perfect way to celebrate my 40th birthday next spring, God’s willing 😉
