Coty Fragrance #L2LMomSometimes I look in the mirror and I see my Mom staring right back at me. Sometimes I watch myself on video and it’s crazy how much I look, act and sound like her. The older I get the more I turn into my mother. I honestly wouldn’t change any of this for the world.

My Mom is an amazing, strong, passionate, kind, selfless, beautiful woman and I’m so blessed to have her in my life. My eyes well up with tears sometimes when I think about how much she loves my sisters and I, how much she has sacrificed for us, and all the MANY lessons she has taught us. Here are 5 Life Lessons I Learned from my Mother.

Lessons Learned from Mom #L2LMom

1) Give without expecting anything in return
My Mom is a giver. All my life I have watched her willingly give to others without expecting anything in return. Of course it always comes back to her 10 fold, but her intentions are always pure. I am constantly inspired by her selflessness.

2) Hard work pays off
I learned very early in my life the value of working hard and doing my best. Being focused at school and doing our best was something that Mommy always instilled in us. Even now when I tell my Mom about any projects I’m working on, she would say “well, try your best“.

3) Be yourself
I am the oldest of my Mom’s 3 daughters. Like everyone else, we each have different personalities and unique habits, but she always treated us the same. I was never afraid to embrace my uniqueness or to be myself, because my Mom ensured that we knew it was ok to do just that.

Lessons I Learnt From My Mom #L2LMom4) Do the right thing even if it’s unpopular
This was constantly reinforced to us. Mommy would always say “It’s doesn’t matter what everyone else is doing, you do the right thing. You don’t have to follow the crowd”.

5) Be smart with your money
I remember being 10 or 11 years old and going to the supermarket with my Mom. It was on those trips that she taught me about being smart with my money. We would stand in the aisles and she would explain why it was more economical to purchase one item over another, based on the weight/contents and price.

I’m so grateful for all the lessons my Mom taught me, and I draw from them in my day to day activities. On my last trip to Walmart I noticed the Coty Love 2 Love Fragrance promotional display at the front of the store.Coty Love Love 2 Love Fragrance #L2LMom

Coty Love 2 LoveI immediately thought of getting one as gift for my Mom because I knew she would love it. Firstly, because of the pretty, whimsical petal shaped cap and the cute packaging. I decided to test out the fragrances and I honestly had a hard time picking one. They all smelled so good. The Coty Love 2 Love fragrances are available in these 5 scents.

  • Fresh Rose & Peach
  • Jasmine & Sparkling Mimosa
  • Freesia & Violet Pearls
  • Bluebell & White Tea

Coty Love 2 Love Fragrance #L2LI decided on the Jasmine & Sparkling Mimosa because it smelled so good and reminded of the fresh, clean scents that my Mom really likes. It honestly smelled like the first day of Spring.coty-fragrances-l2lmom-veepeejay

Not only do the Coty Love 2 Love fragrances smell amazing, they are super affordable and provide unbeatable value. I know Mom would definitely approve 🙂 The promotional display also features cute Love 2 Love gift bags that you can pick up for just $0.50.

Even though I won’t be spending this Mother’s Day with my Mom (she lives in Grenada), the lessons she has taught me by her great example will stay with me always. Thanks Mom. Happy Mother’s Day.

Beautiful pictures. These are great lessons, the older I get the more I appreciate my Mom. She always told me “association brings on assimilation”. I hated to hear it as a teen but as an adult I always keep it with me.

I love the pic of you and your sisters with your mom, all so beautiful. These are really great lessons, especially the first one. One of the biggest lessons my mom has taught me is the importance of forgiveness.

That’s definitely an important lesson. Unforgiveness will literally keep you in bondage. Thanks Christine.
