It’s DIY Friday!

If you’ve spent just a few minutes on the blog you can tell that I’m a lover of all thing DIY. I also love experimenting (when I’m in the mood) and trying out different recipes.

Earlier this year, I stumbled upon GreenBeautyChannel on Youtube and I was hooked. Her videos are well made, easy to follow and best of all, she’s a huge DIY’er.

A few weeks ago, she posted a video about a moisturizing cream that I definitely want to try out.  The recipe calls for a herbal hot oil treatment that you can either purchase or…..you guessed it, make it yourself. It’s very easy to do and you can check this post for my DIY Infused Hair Oil

For the visual learners, this video from my girl ItsCinnaMe is also very helpful.

One of the ingredients in the cream is Aloe Vera gel which is usually stored in the refrigerator. There are no preservatives in this recipe, so I’d either make a tiny batch or store it in the refrigerator to prolong its shelf life.
Let me know if you’ve tried, or plan to try this recipe in the comments.
Until next time

This is so very brilliant! I actually use this recipe for my hair concoctions. It’s like a moisturising hair cream that doubles as a hair AND body souffle, I can’t wait to try this out.
