This quote made me sit straight up in my seat, when I heard Pastor Evans say it at church a few months ago. I thought to myself, “hmm, I never thought of it like that”.
We all have dreams and goals we set for ourselves. Some we achieve, some we don’t and some we don’t ever start on. The ones we don’t achieve are sometimes we ones we never start on.
Sometimes we let excuses get in the way of starting……
- I’m too old……
- It will take too long if I start now…..
- People will think I’m crazy……
- I have kids…….
Whatever the reason, we sometimes allow our dreams to die premature deaths, and find that our memories are beginning to weigh more than our dreams.
Always remember that God wants to give you the desires of your heart…….dreams included…all you have to do is delight yourself in him. Oh, and you have to make a START too….
